After a couple of very harrowing years, BYTE is ready to roll back to playa, literally! That's right, at this year's burn we'll be rolling out our new art car, “Petabyte”!
Consisting of over a million fiber optics and contributions from some of our brilliantly talented friends, Petabyte will be our most collaborative, challenging and extraordinary expression of light, sound and tactility yet.
Though we're usually too shy to ask, we just won't be able to make this magic happen without some very big crowdfunding help; which is why we put all our hearts into creating the very best perks our talents can offer you on Indiegogo.

PAST FUTURE
Before all Hell broke loose, we were well on our way to bringing you a much bigger version of BYTE in 2020. We named her "Petabyte" and were very close to receiving a grant for Burning Man... but that was nobody's year.
While we were super bummed about it, we soon found ourselves thinking about turning Petabyte into an art car and suddenly excitement coursed through our veins once again!
Although she was never built, have fun taking a peek into our imaginations from 2020!
